Laboratory of Electrical Transport at Low Temperatures - Laboratório de Transporte Elétrico em Baixas Temperaturas (LTEBT)

The Low Temperature Electrical Transport Laboratory has as its main component a PPMS (PhysicalPropertyMeasurement System) equipment from Quantum Design, capable of carrying out magnetotransport measurements and with an optional Hall effect, which can operate in the temperature range of 420 K – 1.9 K and for fields up to 9 T. It is also possible to perform photoconductivity measurements using light in the Ultraviolet to Infrared range. A homemade accessory was also attached to perform magnetoresistance measurements with angular dependence.

O Laboratório de Transporte Elétrico em Baixas Temperaturas tem como seu principal componente um equipamento PPMS (PhysicalPropertyMeasurement System) da Quantum Design, capaz de realizar medições de magnetotransporte e com opcional para efeito Hall, que pode operar na faixa de temperaturas de 420 K – 1.9 K e para campos de até 9 T.  Também é possível realizar medições de fotocondutividade utilizando luz na faixa do Ultravioleta até o Infravermelho.  Também foi acoplado um acessório homemade para realizar medições de magnetorresistência com dependência angular.
